What is the application of our PLA shrink film? 

Our PLA shrink film’s inherent shrink characteristics allow to cover almost all the container with contoured shaped arriving to 77.8% shrink on transverse direction, and could be used in beverage, dairy, food, health and beauty, household, or home and garden business to make your product stand out on the shelf and increase consumer awareness by making the following innovative packaging:

How is the evolution of the temperature, Oxygen concentration and PLA shrink film during the composting process?

 

• HYF PLA shrink film are made of 100%  NatureWorks PLA corn-based resin.

 

• Plants grow by photo-synthesis, absorbing CO2 from the air, minerals and water from the soil and the energy from the sun.

 

• The starch and sugar content of the plants is converted into lactic acid by microorganisms via a fermentation process.

 

• Lactic acid is polymerized and becomes poly-lactic acid (PLA).

 

• PLA is Biaxially oriented into film and becomes shrink sleeve package.

 

• Sustainable packaging is composted into CO2, water and biomass.

 

• Biomass is absorbed by plants, and the cycle continues.
