PETG (Glycol-modified Polyetthylene Teraphthalate) is an amorphous plastic resin of the polyster family. PETG shrink film is a high-performance, printable polyester that forms glossy, tamper-evident sleeves when heated. Glycol modification of standard PET yields exceptional clarity (>90 %), toughness and up to 80 % shrinkage, allowing the film to hug complex contours of bottles, cups, cosmetics and electronics without tearing or whitening. Oriented PETG shrinks at 70–90 °C, so less energy is required and heat-sensitive products are protected; precise tunnel temperatures secure repeatable, wrinkle-free finishes.

The PETG shrink sleeve material prints brilliantly in flexo, rotogravure and digital processes, accepts metallic or tactile inks, and resists scuffing throughout distribution, maximising shelf appeal and brand differentiation.
